NFL Week 16 – Holiday Weekend and Parlay Picks

Still only two teams have clinched a spot in the playoffs. Almost every game this week means a lot and we’ve already had some interesting happenings. The Titans showed us they are still a force to be reckoned with, defeating the 49ers. Last night we saw Aaron Rodgers beat Brett Favre’s record as the Packers beat the Browns. The Colts are still on the rise, taking care of the Cardinals without a Jonathon Taylor touchdown and most of their offensive line on COVID protocols.

Week 15 Pick Recap

Check out last week’s picks here. I only went 6-4 on Sunday’s matchups, but the Packers/Ravens parlay hit. I also took the underdog parlay of Texans and Bengals to win. The Bucs were shut out which ruined the PMI super boost as the other two teams, the 49ers and Packers, got it done.

AFC North and AFC West Still Wide Open

With the Browns losing, that puts them at the bottom of the AFC North for the moment, but a lot could change today with a division matchup between the Ravens and the Bengals. Lamar Jackson is still out with an injury and Tyler Huntley is on COVID protocols, giving the start to Josh Johnson today. The Steelers play the Chiefs, rounding out the North matchups. The AFC West is pretty open too with a division matchup between Raiders and Broncos and the Chargers taking on the Texans.

Ravens at Bengals Same Game Parlay

We know Jackson can run, Huntley also got it done with his legs last week for the parlay, so I’m looking for Johnson to do the same. He threw for over 300 yards against the Colts a few weeks ago but that was for the Jets. He’s coming into a different team so keeping it simple, getting some rushing yards, and utilizing Mark Andrews. I’m also adding in some Joe Mixon yards.

Rams are Ready as Cardinals Lose to Colts

The Cardinals lost last night to the Colts who have been taking care of business. Today the Rams take on the Vikings and could take the leading spot in the NFC West with a win. We could end up with three teams from that division in the playoffs, even after the 49ers added a loss earlier this week to the Titans.

Rams at Vikings Same Game Parlay

Matthew Stafford has so many options, it’s hard to choose. I’m sticking with a Cooper Kupp touchdown today and a Rams win. Looking at my fantasy team, the Vikings are also 31st against quarterbacks, so I’m going to add in Stafford yards. Even with the Rams defense, I expect the Vikings to put up a fight and for Justin Jefferson to be the main beneficiary. He’s also looking forward to the matchup, according to Vikings beat writer Chad Graff.
